Speaking, presenting, and moderating are my favourite ways to engage with groups of people. I learned at an early age that a conversation is the perfect entry point to a person’s story. So, as a lover of stories, I’m also a lover of a great gab session. The key is to ask real questions and to receive the answers with honesty and vulnerability.
Since 2012 I’ve presented keynotes and workshops, participated in panels and moderated sessions about books and media, especially as related to diversity and equity. I draw on my professional experience in the publishing industry, my education in history and political science, and my love of pop culture to dissolve the barrier between the stage and the audience.
