Florida State University. I took a walk while my friend was in class. The campus is gorgeous. The aesthetic is the same throughout giving the school a unified feel. Trees lined FSU’s Legacy Walk. The statue featured pays homage to three African-American students in FSU’s history: Doby Lee Flowers, first African-American Homecoming Princess (1970); Maxwell Courtney, first African-American undergrad student (1962 – 1965); Fred H. Flowers, first African-American to wear FSU athletic uniform
