If you follow me on social media you probably know by now that A Different Booklist is one of my favorite independent bookstores. I have hosted my private writing consultations there and it’s always a pleasure to witness the rich cultural programming in their space. To kick off spring I’ve partnered with A Different Booklist Cultural Centre for a one-of-a-kind event.
On Monday April 29, come have dinner with me at their inspiring People’s Residence (777 Bathurst St, Toronto) and ask me any questions you may have. We’ll be talking about books: reading them, writing them, publishing them, and sharing them. The publishing process can be lonely and my biggest advice to writers is always to find a community. So here is some help with that. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to share a bit about themselves and their work and will be able to get insight from me and from their fellow writers. All in a comfortable and vibrant space–with food!
